The Austin 7 was a British economy car built and sold between 1922 and 1938. It was the most popular car of its day in Britain, and it also sold well abroad, where it was often made under licence.
It went through a number of body styles, such as tourers, saloons, sports, and even vans. And today there is a very enthusiastic preservation society dedicated to keeping the Austin 7 on the road. Occasionally, the Austin 7s do the Brighton Run, and come to Madeira Drive.
